I am a hardcore lover of psytrance living in Seattle who needs some help locating the local scene.  I haven't seen a thread for a local show on this site in a few months and I am starving for some good full-on or dark psy.  If there are any facebook pages or venues that anyone knows of that might help me out I would be eternally grateful ;D

Also, I am more than willing to drive down to Portland if there is no fun to be had up here.
Thank you everyone!

I know very little of current psy in seattle but the 11-2 thing Jamie posted is here in Portland and will likely be psuper psweet.

  • Ahh! After 10,000 years I'm free!
Osiris and what's his name (sorry!) of Future Nurses bring great Psy to the area.
Also, Luke Mandala just moved up there at the top of this year.

When I think of that one venue I've seen a bunch of Psy shows at, I'll post it. Maybe check their calendar, but it may have been just a moment in time for them.
Will, you were at one of those shows. So was A'damn. You remember the name of that venue?
I could prolly do a search for Green Nuns.

Lastly....
IF YOU BUILD IT THEY WILL COME

The other guy in Future Nurses is Brian Enoch or sometimes aka Amanita I think.  I thought they were mostly doing techno/prog type stuff lately.

I will definitely head down for the show next weekend, it sounds sick. Thank you everyone for your suggestions and I hope to see you all there :)

Don't forget Lara too, I've seen her play around here a couple times. Once was a Goa set and the other some Chill in the park. Good times. People already mentioned Osiris Indrya (sp?)/Future Nurses when I saw his B-day set at Contour I was in a very good place :) As a fellow Seattle area Psy fan[atic] I share your pain in finding good events around here. Maybe a Seattle caravan exodus to Portland could happen at some point if anyone is down...

I still sometimes believe I left Seattle too soon...

I hear of many people thinking about putting some psy parties into gear, but I have yet to hear anything concrete. Sending positive vibes up north!

There was a group called Seattle goa productions a while ago. I sent them an email to volunteer doing whatever I could but the website shutdown soon after :( I went to one party they threw and it was really fun!
