[Oct.24] Welcome to a gRave New World [pdxXx]
« on: September 30, 2009, 09:28:46 PM »
Spooky!

Welcome to a gRave new world everyone. A world in which it is hard not to fear whatever it is that lies around the corner.

Monsters are becoming more and more prevalent in our lives. Real terrorist monsters like Osama Bin Laden, real political monsters like the majority of our presidents over the years and real corporate monsters that cheat and lie.

Halloween is our turn to be the monsters. Let's dress up and show people that money and power is not what being a monster is all about. It's actually about wanting love, like Dr. Frankenstein's monster or being hungry such as Dracula was for blood.

This is a new world we are in. A gRave New World. Let's make the best of it that we can.

Great post A'damn!
That is some deep shit there...
Seriously, that has to be one of the most compelling halloween posts I have ever seen.
One of the scariest things out there is the true reality of the world and our position in it...

And totaly sweat images Ashleeey.

Halloween parties are the best!

Wow, with a choice between downtempo and ambient it will be difficult to decide which room to fall asleep in.   ???

So is this more going to be a chill and hang out party? I could very well be wrong, but ambient and down tempo seem kind of hard to dance to. Not that that's a bad thing, of course.
"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "We're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "otherwise you wouldn't have come here." -

Its actually a secret dance competition, the people in the control booth
will be monitoring all the sickest moves for each sub-genre, ambient &
downtempo, and the winner walks away with the *chillest* prize ever.

Wow, I wasn't gonna go since there isn't going to be any uptempo planned. But if there's a secret dance competition, I'm in! I can't wait to show off my new rubber arm trick! :)
Take a stance and begin your dance to mind bending trance beats. Prepare your ears for an NRGized treat!

I know!  We need to do something about this!  Our country can't bond if you we don't have a shared hated enemy.
I wish it was still Sarah Palin, she was fun to pick on and would've made a hot vampire president.
